There's no way I could ever make it to the top 5 though..I've never lost more than 2-3 lbs a week.
Ah but Hafsa, if you lose 2-3lbs every week your total percentage lost will elevate you higher up the league and of course you will win an even bigger prize... The joy of knowing that your mother-in-law will be speechless.
Hafsa, no worries! Everyone is different, which is why doing it the percentage way, is the fair way. Some weeks I don't lose anything and other weeks, a lot. For the ladies, it also depends on 'that time of the month' when we have our moon-time/cycles...
Never say Never Hafsa! You certainly can make the top! I just chose more than 5 lbs this week because we had such great losses, which is typical for any weight loss start up. I guarantee next week the numbers will drop, but we will still have some great losses

True that my short term goal is to not to look too fat when I go and visit my in-laws..but I do have a long term goal as well i.e. to be a lot healthier and slimmer by my 28th birthday. So our plan to visit my husband's family is what actually got me desperate enough to find quick ways to lose some pounds..but to be honest..I wanna do it for myself..and more..for my daughter. If I want her to develop healthy eating habits and an active lifestyle, I need to be in good shape myself and have a healthy relationship with food. Otherwise, all that I might tell her would fall on a deaf ear.
True, it was TOM for me last week, and it made me gain a couple of pounds. So it was quite a battle to get rid of those two and one and a half more. So I'd say I did well
